Thanks for the false advertising. When you put the name of a band on the flyer it usually means they're playing their own set, not one or two songs combined with a band you already saw at a better party in long beach a couple nights earlier FOR FREE! And then when asked if Japanther was playing you guys replied, "they played with NinjaSonik almost the whole time." Sorry but I don't think Japanther was any part of that event last night. I think what I'm most disappointed about was that I convinced two good friends who had never seen Japanther to come with me. They RSVP'd a few hours before show time but still had to pay the $10 admission and to top it all off they left halfway through NinjaSonik because they apparently knew better than I and could see that Japanther wasn't going to play. Do you know how hard it is going to be to convince them to come see a show next time? To sum it all up, thanks for the fake-out. If you ever want the business and readership of me and my friends again I expect a refund. $20 for my friends and I'll count my $5 as a loss. I don't even need the money, I have a job, it's about the principal of things, and not being lied to.

My address is 435 Temple, LB, CA 90814. If you want to send me hate mail that's fine but it better have a crisp $20 bill enclosed with it!

Here's a little spin on Sonic Fuckin' Ninjas for ya.

"Somebody's gettin', money (and trust) back......... and it's me."

Agreed. Mark my words when I say I will be telling my friends about how the bands we paid up for didn't play two nights in a row. Ninjasonik playing an MP3 of Japanther doesn't equate to Japanther. Fucking shady. I hope no one ever goes to your "shows" and I'll make sure my friends don't as long as you keep fabricating bands that will apparently be playing the shows.

Before posting any further comments, please refer here for an explanation from FMLY and Ian of Japanther of what happened this weekend.
