Ghost to Falco

Luke Silas (Nephews, Anamanaguchi, The Histories, etc) turned me onto Portland's Ghost to Falco a few weeks ago while in town for Blip Fest. After listening to some tunes that I found around the internet it'd be an understatement to say that I've become fond of these sounds, because my curiosity behind Eric Crespo's music has led to much more personal - rather than auditory - realizations of pleasure. Looming melodies grow haunting and dissonant just as simply as they form narrative structures for vacant sounds. For interested New Yorkers, Ghost to Falco will play TONIGHT at the Cake Shop (I'll see you there) and Monday at Death By Audio. More information can be found via MySpace. I've also gotta give props to the name because Ghost to Falco is just awesome, maybe even as awesome as whoever built this website!
