The Amazements bring soul to the art-rock party that will leave you floored. With catchy titles such as "Time Anus" and the rough, but very listenable cut of "Steel Mill," I'm looking forward to hearing some higher quality recordings from these Los Angeles folk. The most clear comparison to draw would be a mix of tequila folk-rockers Rumspringa with the heart and soul of Bmore's Ponytail...plus featuring art that looks like one of the Garbage Pail Kids only helps The Amazements enter the realm of 'definitely worth checking out' at The Smell or Pehrspace in the next month.
